“Is the parable of the 10 virgins really about preparing for the rapture?
In today’s podcast and post, I’m making an addition to my 2018 series on the real meaning of the parables. Church history and religion have obscured this story by trapping it into a dogma on preparing for a future rapture. By doing that, we’ve missed a lot.
Join me now as we see beyond the lamps, the oil, and the bridegroom, at this amazing comparison between knowing and being known.
Since revisiting this series from 2018, some have asked about the parable of the 10 virgins. Well, here it is and now it is officially apart of the series about the real meaning of the parables. If you missed any, you can see them here...
It might surprise you to learn that our problems are not deeply rooted emotional patters for which we need years of therapy to unearth. In my book, I prove that all problems are ultimately truth problems. This means that if we apprehend
and apply the truth, our life immediately moves into conformity to health, peace and well-being...all within the privacy of our own minds.
Is this too simplistic? If you can prove me wrong and are able to find even one example of any problem in the world for which this foundational truth does not apply, I'll be happy to buy you a gift card of your
choice.
