Thoughts Worth Thinking

"Take your attention

off  your critics and

put it on your

dreams."

~Robin Sharma

Happy Monday, -- Why are only some people successful? The herd answers that question by saying that there is only so much to go around, then it convinces us to just settle for good enough. (scarcity mindset)

The truth is that the successful people do things that unsuccessful people will not do. Here are five key differences.

  1. They never assume they know it all. They are perpetual learners (Disciples).
  2. They are always developing themselves toward mastery by being developed by others. (Humility)
  3. They always focus on the value they bring to others more than what others bring them. (Service)
  4. They don't squander their time.(Diligent)
  5. They have mastered the ability to silence the inner critic. (Focus)

The last point is perhaps the most difficult for all people. There is a voice of doubt residing in each of us, I call this voice our "INNER SENNACHERIB."

It's there taus of our failures, our time constraints, our limitations, and it's always redirecting our focus from our dreams and life mission, onto our lack of resources.

It's time we silence it.

The world needs us to fulfill our dreams as much as we need to fulfill them. So let's take action this week and make it awesome.

Happy 4th of July!
The fourth of July is known commercially for BBQ's and long weekends. But it's primary purpose is a day for us to celebrate our independence.

Liberty means many different things to people, and each has its value.

But I can't help but think about people who live in a country that would allow them to freely pursue the best possible life, but instead they squander their life waiting around for things to just somehow get better. It happens in politics, religion, health, education, and all aspects of our society.

When this happens a person is not really free. They live in a free context, but their minds are captive and do not have the categories that will free a person into a life where they thrive.

That is what REPOTconnect is all about.

I truly pray you are able to celebrate independence this week.
NEW SECTION:  Pneumaudio (pneuma=spirit)
People are always changing. Psychology has positioned itself as the "science of the mind." But is personal transformation really scientific? In this weeks Pneumaudio, I will demonstrate that even if you employed Jungian psychology as a means of personal change (the subject of this song), you are still engaging in a spiritual pursuit rather than a scientific or clinical one. Jesus said it like this: "You are not far from the kingdom."
