Good Morning! I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend and that your summer is off to an amazing start.
I talk to so many people who feel like they have done so many things wrong in their lives. It's true. We all make mistakes. We all mess things up. But what is amazing is that most people see past errors, sins, or mistakes as setbacks. They see them as a derailing of their progress.
If that is you, I'd like to offer you some encouragement. What if every mistake you've made didn't derail you, but instead it created you? What if your deepest regrets are required for you to become the person you desperately long to be?
Would that revolutionize how you viewed your self, and what you could do with your life?
It's not as strange as you might think. My son is a very accomplished bike rider for a 7 year old. He could never have seen this potential without the countless face-plants and wipeouts.
When you stop and think about it. Everything you've ever known is this way.
So why won't you forgive yourself and get on with what you've always hoped to do? Many people of faith can't, and I wrote a blog about why I think that is. (see link below)
I hope this week we can stop trying to put failures behind us and embrace them so we can use them for their intended purpose--Making us great.
I've never met a failure who kept trying.
Have a FREE week.
