Thoughts Worth Thinking

"If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden."
~Frances Hodgson Burnett

Happy Monday !   Why doesn't the Empire State building have an observation deck on the 1st floor?  It's an obvious matter of perspective.  Looking up is one thing, but looking down is quite another.

Altering a perspective doesn't just change our point of view, it changes our very life. Consider these vital perspectives and their implications on our life:
  • A positive outlook vs a negative outlook.
  • An abundance mentality vs a scarcity mentality.
  • Living proactively vs living reactively.
  • Diligence vs negligence.
  • Life vs death.
You see it doesn't take very long before we can see substantial differences between people's lives by the  perspectives that each person holds.  In fact, our life today reflects our perspectives of yesterday. Our pain is our perspective.

To live the best possible life we must possess the best possible perspectives. In fact, the process of all life is to keep moving into greater conformity to a more truthful perspective. We are all learning this via different means. Right now some are learning truth through triumph, while others are learning through pain. We all get to visit each perspective. The highs and lows are a benevolent gift.

Take a moment and examine the area in your life where you want real change or where you don't. Perhaps you are holding on to a perspective that no longer works for you, or will no longer be allowed. That is a formative container. A prison. You are being REPOTTED.

The great news for each of us is that we can each make the necessary changes today. Willingly or not, a change of perspective is how the world will become better.

"but man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward" Job 5:7

Neumaudio:  "The World I know"
So many people live in a tremendous amount of pain.  Suffering impacts people in countless ways that are not seen. Throughout our day we bump elbows with the suffering. We all have solidarity with suffering. It may be acute or chronic. Even the biblical story is that even God would be acquainted with grief.  A change of perspective can make all the difference.
Today is the day.
