Consciousness & Solutions:
Getting Better, Part 3

Happy Monday, ! I hope you are finding this series helpful.

We all know how hard personal change can be. So I have been adapting pieces from my new book and sharing them in this series. You can view the previous posts in the link to the left.

The next area of focus will be the solution. Not the actually solution, but primarily what we "Think" the solution will look like.  It's important for us to identify exactly what we anticipate the solution will entail.

It may surprise you that we don't do this for the sake of the solution, but for the sake of defining our problem. You see, our proposed solution tells us a lot about how we perceive the problem.

If I weigh the problem as a 3 but you weigh the problem as a 7, then we will likely propose different solutions.  This allows us to begin the process of "Thinking about our thinking," and that is another way of elevating our consciousness.

This can be harder than it looks. This is the point where all of our defenses kick into gear. We love to minimize our problems, so that we can keep them quiet or in the dark as long as possible. The point here is not to broadcast or even share your problems with others unless you desire to, the main point is whether you are conscious enough to catch yourself trying to hide in some form. If you can't, then you probably need someone to help you.

Once the problem is accurately defined and our consciousness is elevated and aware of our own shenanigans, the healing and transformation process can begin in earnest.

If we do not assess things correctly at this point, we will not realize the lasting personal change that we seek. Most people I've coached through this have returned to their problem because they applied the wrong solution because they appraised the problem incorrectly.

If I can help in any way, please let me know.

Have a great week.
