Merry Christmas!

Thanks for being a loyal email subscriber. I appreciate the fact that you are willing to take a few minutes each week and consider the ideas I bring before you. Over the years I have been so blessed by this type of sharing, and I pray this content really blesses you as well.

One amazing idea can change the world.  Christmas is an amazing time to reflect on the birth of Jesus who was the message bearer of a truly amazing idea. Though not a new idea, it was a much needed fresh retelling of the greatest power in the universe.  The idea is: Love.

     God's expansive, and fully inclusive love for all, even what we label as unlovable.

     Our love for one another, even our enemies.

     Our love for our deepest, most authentic self, that is transparently grounded in God.

Sew these together and no matter where you are, or who you are, these morph into revolutionary lives.

The Christmas idea is shared the world over. It's written on every human heart, every single image bearer.

In this single "decoration" or declaration of LOVE hangs everything else. If we get it right, we can never lose. If we get this wrong, we can never win.

I pray you find and cherish your Christmas idea as it is being told in that thing you call your life.
