This week will conclude this series on Redefinitions.
If we are every to go beyond our present level of consciousness, we must use new categories to get us there. We cannot afford to continue only seeing things from our most comfortable perspective. We have to go deeper.
Institutions that want to control how we think will cast a tremendous amount of doubt and engage in fear tactics to ward off any ideas except their own. This is called "Tribal Truth" and it has stunted the growth of humanity. It is stalling progress.
Fortunately, history is full of people who learn how to think for themselves outside of institutionalized programing. This series has been my effort to show all comers that religious belief and practice is not limited to only those who define themselves using such categories.
I think this computer
metaphor is helpful. Religious programming is the hardware we all share in common, though we each run different software or user interface. You might have a Dell, or a Mac, or a Sony and you might use firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer, but regardless of the structures, you are able to connect to Google or your search engine. We all connect to a search engine or we are not ONLINE. We are all spiritual or we are not ALIVE. All life is
spiritual.
Maybe its time we take a good hard look at our software or user interface. My audience has grown because my content focuses on speaking to people who have finally got to the point where they are questioning their software. Nothing can change your life more than figuring out your life
"software." It is the essence of knowing oneself and God.
I've met people who have devout religions, that are not "ONLINE" or connected to Devine Truth. I've met people with the simplest "dial up" connections who are deeply connected. This isn't a win or lose contest.
I
hope you will do yourself a favor, and begin questioning everything you know and have been taught. Become humble enough to learn from others and watch what happens. Your conscious engagement will start to redefine what you believe today into a wider, bigger, belief for tomorrow. As your redefined faith begins to emerge, your life will never be the same.
I am a completely different person than I was 10 years
ago. I'm very different than I was 5 years ago. Even last year I believed things in one way that I now see as true in an entirely different way. This growing process is known as Salvation. It is not an event, it is the corpus of your life in faith. It is the benevolent gift of Truth, and while none of us possess it all, we all touch some of it.
The Truth we touch will
always transform us.
