At a time when holidays are manipulated for commerce, may I offer a friendly reminder that Black Friday will not be there for you on your death bed.

Do all you can to be present with those around your table because that connection is the only lasting aspect of any holiday gathering-- or any gathering for that matter.

This holiday time is really an important portal to view ultimate reality. Those things that at first seem intangible (friendships, connections, love) are actually the only lasting things. All the tangibles (food, gifts, parties) all turn to vapor. Which then is more real?

Thanks so much for being a part of this virtual community. You are an extension of my family and I'm thankful for you.
