The Ruin of the Warrior.
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

The next level of consciousness and spirituality is the warrior stage. The warrior stage of consciousness offers solidarity for larger groups of people and provides them with a powerful identity. While it helps people engage in something much bigger than themselves, it comes with a huge cost. In this podcast and post, I explain why the warrior consciousness will never have peace and why it is so popular within religion, military and politics. The warrior requires an adversary and will create one if needed. This is a stage that can be visited, but it must not be our home. The ruin of the warrior consciousness emerges when empathy for “the other” is found in our hearts and we incorporate the good things from this stage into a wider understanding of the truth.
