Good morning , this quote reveals some common sense wisdom that is all too often forgotten in our professional and personal lives. What seems like a worthless pursuit to one person, may seem like a strategy for success to another. For instance, I now realize that my online business selling "Pre-filled waterbeds" wasn't really the best idea--the shipping costs killed my profit margin.
But there are other considerations here besides the obvious lesson of worthless pursuits. The key points are as follows:
1. We all have "land", but we may not all be working it. We may be coasting. We might be slacking. Our attitude may stink. If so, then we will most certainly miss great opportunities when they come. To get in the game, you have to get in YOUR game.
2. It is going to take some wisdom to make these decisions. On the 999th attempt at making a light bulb it probably seemed like a worthless pursuit. But that changed on try #1000. Others spend their life savings on ideas that go nowhere. How do you know the difference?
Nobody knew more than Solomon how important wisdom was for solving problems, the difference may not be in what we know, but how we think. Watch this video to get more...
