I got to thinking -- There is something about people who are unwilling to learn that rubs nearly everyone I know the wrong way. Stubborn. Know-it-all. Pig headed. You know the type?

Is it that person's over appraisal of their certainty? Is it the proudness of heart that is behind it all? Or is it that this person has concluded that they could never LEARN anything from another, and as such it undermines any contribution others can make?

So what are the ingredients of teachability? Of being a leaner? To start with, I think we need a healthy dose of "I don't know." ....

1.  Even if you have been in your career for a while, there are still small nuances that you can apply. That small 1% difference is all you are looking for. It's often the difference between 1st and 2nd place.

Once I sort out my issues with my green screen I can complete the editing on my series entitled "The Impasse."  This will be a short video series where I address the issue that we all face when we put our biggest hopes and dreams into something and it just doesn't pan out. Some people just get over it, others are ruined by it, but we are all transformed by this seemingly cruel part of life.
