Fear means you've reached capacity!

Thought of the Week: February 4, 2013

"Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free."
    ~Jim Morrison

Happy Monday ! I hope you are doing well. This quote by the late singer of the Doors really touches a couple of really important rails for our thinking. First it is our relationship with fear, second it illuminates the reality that people fear freedom.

I know, it sounds absurd, but it's true.  Often times in life you can open the prison doors of a persons' life and they will run to the back of their own cell.  Sometimes people want familiar, or easy, or uncomplicated, or predictable far more than they want to live freely or abundantly.

In your endeavors this week, I hope you encounter a lot of fear, because it means you are living to your potential. Let's agree that when we face it, we won't cave.

Have an awesome week!

Best Year Possible: #5  Fear
The next warning light that we need to pay attention to is that of fear. It tells us we have reached our present capacities. But is it a faulty light? Learn why fear and failure are not things you want to avoid.
People are Awesome!
One member of our group mentioned these videos and how inspiring they are. He made an interesting point as well, he said when people display their awesomeness, it's like they are displaying God's awesomeness.  None of these or any other display of awesomeness could happen if these people succumbed to fear.
