Thoughts worth Thinking: May 20

"Twenty years from now you will be more

disappointed by the things that you didn't do

than by the ones you did do. So throw off the

bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch

the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.

Discover."

- Mark Twain

Happy Monday everyone!  I'm amazed at just how many places in life seem to be conveying the encouraging message above. It all comes down to what all people share in common, and that is the desire to have the best life possible. It's true we go about pursuing that goal in very different ways, and its also true that along the way we get sidelined, distracted, or knocked off course.

But the most interesting thing is that we can all tell when life isn't as we had hoped. And the wisdom passed around in every nook and crack of living is that we should make the most of the life we are living. It's an aspect of our existential life.

This means that we must do something today that will move us closer to those things we desire. Putting something off is a ticket to regret later in life. Survey your life and maybe you need to make some changes. Start them today.

I would rather be a failure pursuing my dreams than successful at never trying.

Have a great week.

THRIVE is on the RISE! thank you.

I started my Blog several months ago essentially as a digital journal. I've shared a few posts with this group but beyond that it has had no promotion at all. I had nearly 200 people read these posts this week and it really amazes me to think that people find my pontifications so helpful. But each week it is gaining more followers. It's already bigger than the average small church.

My only goal with this blog is to encourage people that no longer subscribe to the cultural church, or who in integrity could never bring themselves to adopt any formalized religion. This group of people is far larger than the group who shows up to the Sunday big show, and strangely there is very little out there to help them contemplate the weightier things of life.  At least now there is a tiny little voice.

So for those who have read through some of my blogs I want to say a sincere Thank You. I work hard to put inspiring, thought provoking content that you cannot get anywhere else. If any of you are interested in checking it out, I've enclosed the link below.

Thrive in Exile

REPOT your life.

If there is an area of your life (your career or business, your health or exercise, your spirit, or in your relationships or community) where you fee like your not making the progress you desire. Then maybe its time to repot your life.

Most of us don't need therapy.  Most of us don't need an overhaul. Most of us don't need a beat down.

We simply need a new idea.  A new perspective that changes our attitude.  We need a bigger pot so our roots can stretch out in new soil. We need to break free of the formative containers that were great up until now.

Coming Soon.

Repot Now.
